Impact Stories
Restoring Wetlands in Mwanza
We successfully restored over 50 hectares of wetlands in the Mwanza region, bringing back vital habitats for numerous bird species and aquatic life. This project not only revived the local ecosystem but also provided sustainable livelihoods for surrounding communities through eco-friendly tourism and fishing practices.
Saving the Endangered Lake Victoria Cichlids
Through our dedicated efforts in habitat restoration and anti-poaching measures, we have significantly increased the population of endangered Lake Victoria cichlids. Our community education programs have also fostered a sense of stewardship among local fishers, ensuring the continued protection of these unique species.
